Recycle Bottle Bank for Rushcliffe Council

Recycle Bottle Bank for Rushcliffe Council

In 2019, Rushcliffe Borough Council introduced a new bottle bank at East Croft to meet the growing demand for recycling facilities.

The installation aimed to make recycling more accessible to local residents, encouraging higher rates of glass recycling. This project was part of the council’s broader environmental strategy to expand recycling options across the borough, reduce landfill waste, and support sustainable waste management practices.

The new bottle bank was a key part of the council’s efforts to promote recycling and reduce environmental impact, aligning with national waste reduction goals.
