Valley Road Bridge Repair
In the summer of 2022, between July and August, a strict six-week timeframe was set to complete significant highway repairs on the A6514 in Nottingham, as part of the city's ongoing road maintenance and improvement initiatives.
These repairs focused on resurfacing, line marking, and upgrading drainage systems to prevent flooding and improve road conditions. Given the A6514’s importance as a major arterial route encircling Nottingham, the work was critical for ensuring safety and providing a smoother driving experience for daily commuters.

Nottingham City Council and the project team coordinated closely to minimise disruption, scheduling work in phases or during off-peak hours. The improvements addressed wear and tear from heavy traffic and were part of a broader plan to maintain and enhance Nottingham’s road network.
